I have a great interest in the Italian Renaissance; and chose that theme to reflect Italy's abundant musical heritage. "Putti" angels, often playing instruments, are a frequent artistic theme of that period. The design on the back represents the harmony, rhythm and joy of music.
Painting has been a course of study and a major source of fulfillment in my life. I received a Bachelor of Arts from Rosary College, River Forest, Illinois and a scholarship to Pius XII Institute, Florence, Italy where I earned a Master of Fine Arts. I taught art at the grade, middle and high schools levels and conducted art workshops. Since 1990 I have received over 50 national, state and regional awards. When my work impacts a viewer positively, it gives me enormous encouragement and great joy.
